Your Local Plumber in Falmouth, MA Since 2001
Blue Pacific Cape Cod opened in Falmouth in 2001 and has worked out of this town ever since. We’re locally owned and Cape Cod based, and we’ve finished more than 1,600 jobs in year-round houses, summer cottages, rentals and commercial buildings from Woods Hole to Yarmouth.
Our plumbers are licensed and insured, and we cover both halves of a house’s mechanical systems: the plumbing (supply lines, drains, fixtures, water heaters, gas piping) and the heating and cooling equipment that keeps a Cape house comfortable in February and in August.
In August 2026 we were named a BusinessRate award winner, ranked the #2 plumber in East Falmouth based on Google reviews. Those reviews mention a no-hot-water call answered on a Sunday and a kitchen drain cleared on a Saturday, and they keep coming back to fair pricing and clear communication from start to finish.

Plumbing Services for Falmouth Homes and Businesses
Most calls fall into a handful of categories, each with its own page.
Commercial Plumbing
Restaurants, shops, offices and rental buildings around Falmouth. We schedule around your hours so the restrooms and kitchen stay open, and we handle the water heaters, drain lines and backflow devices businesses depend on. More on commercial plumbing in Falmouth.
Drain Cleaning
Slow sinks, gurgling tubs and main line backups. We clear clogs by snaking or hydro jetting, then run a camera when we need to see what’s causing them. More on drain cleaning in Falmouth.
Water Heaters
Repair, replacement and new installs for tank and tankless water heaters, including Navien and Rinnai tankless units. If you’re out of hot water right now, start with our water heater repair page.
Gas Lines
New gas piping for ranges, dryers, fireplaces, grills and pool heaters, on natural gas or propane. See how we plan, run and pressure test a new gas line installation.
Outdoor Showers
Hard to find a Cape house without one. We run hot and cold supply, set valves that drain down for winter, and plan where the water goes. Read about our outdoor shower installation work.
Kitchen & Bath Remodels
New vanities, tile showers, kitchen sinks and full bathroom remodels, with the plumbing handled from rough-in to the last fixture. See how a project runs on our bathroom remodeling in Falmouth page.
Emergency Plumber in Falmouth, MA
When a pipe lets go at 2 a.m. or the water heater dumps across the basement floor, call (508) 274-9939. Our emergency plumbers in Falmouth answer 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and urgent repairs get same-day service. We work out of East Falmouth, so Teaticket, Hatchville and Waquoit are minutes away, and Woods Hole and North Falmouth aren’t much farther.
The calls that can’t wait are burst or frozen pipes, a leak you can’t shut off at the fixture, sewage coming up through a drain, a water heater leaking from the tank, and a boiler that quits on a cold night. Shut off the main water valve if you can reach it, stay clear of water near outlets, and we’ll take it from there. Once the water is stopped, we tell you what failed and what the fix costs before we do anything more.

Boilers, Heat Pumps and AC for Cape Cod Homes
Plenty of Falmouth houses are older Capes and ranches heated by a boiler and baseboard, running on oil, natural gas, or propane where the gas main doesn’t reach. We repair, maintain and replace those systems, and our boiler repair work runs from no-heat calls to annual cleanings on brands like Weil-McLain.
If you’re moving away from oil or want cooling in a house that never had it, we install and service heat pumps and ductless mini splits, including Fujitsu and Bosch systems. We also help homeowners find and apply for Mass Save rebates, which on the Cape are offered through Cape Light Compact.
Homes with ductwork get the same attention: AC repair and installation for summer and furnace repair and tune-ups before the cold, on equipment from makers like Goodman and Bryant. Having one company for plumbing and heating in Falmouth also means one call when the boiler that makes your hot water stops doing both.

Neighbors who called us
We had guests staying in our house in Dennis. The water heater went off on a Saturday evening. After furiously calling any and all plumbers listed with 24 hr emergency service to try to get someone out there but no response, I called this number at 8 PM Saturday night. Nick actually answered his phone. He was onsite at a job in Falmouth but said he could go first thing in the morning. He followed through on that. He was prompt and quickly fixed the problem early Sunday morning. What a relief knowing our guests could take a shower. He was in touch with updates and info and super responsive. Price was great. I was so relieved. He was so reassuring and literally we could get no one else to even answer the phone. We were so grateful and will be calling him again.
We just moved into a new home in Mashpee and we had a leak under the sink. I was really impressed by how communicative and professional Nick was in our interactions. The leak was repaired and then two days later, one of our mini-splits started leaking inside the house. Dylan came over and thoroughly diagnosed the problem, not stopping at just trying to clear the drain line, but visually inspecting the line outside of the house. He found the installers had cut corners, causing a kinked drainline. Dylan replaced the cheap hose with PVC and made sure the unit was draining properly.
He was incredibly courteous, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions and show me exactly what he was doing.
Plumbing/HVAC issues are personal nightmares for me, but we now have peace of mind knowing that we have reliable experts to take care of any issues. Great service all around!
I reached out to Blue Pacific as a new homeowner and knew whatever was happening with my plumbing I could not fix. They came right away and fixed my kitchen sink leak. Then we realized that the bathroom toilet needed some replacing and within 2 days Nick ordered a new one and came to replace it. The service was amazing. Literally issues were resolved within days. The communication between myself and Nick was clear, accessible and efficient. I would recommend this company to my family members. Thank you for helping me fix these issues I have been worrying about for months.
They have done a great job. I had a previous plumber in there who said it wasn’t possible and wanted to run the pipe on the outside of the house. Blue Pacific came in reconnected the pipes ran through the wall pressure tested them and made everything work when other company said it wasn’t possible so happy thank you so much guys
Nick and Dylan were on time and again did a fabulous job installing a new AC unit during a severe heat wave. They acquired the unit, disposed of the broken one and tackled two unusual circumstances during the install. They also had to work in a severely tight attic space that required altering the condenser metal housing. Finished in a day and kept to the estimate even with the unexpected hurdles. Blue Pacific is awesome.
Nick was great.
Prompt, courteous and professional.
He came right out on a Saturday, and took care of our kitchen drain.
I would request his services again for anything plumbing related without hesitation.
Great experience with Blue Pacific Cape Cod Plumbing. Nick and team were professional, responsive, punctual and easy to work with. Communication was great throughout the process. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a reliable plumber on the Cape.
Great service on an emergency call for no hot water on a Sunday. Very impressed.

Cape Cod Plumbing Problems We See Every Year
Plumbing on the Cape wears out in its own ways. A house empty from October to May, a cottage near the water and a rental with new guests every Saturday in July all fail differently.
If you own a seasonal place, have the heating system checked before you close up in the fall and make sure someone local knows where your main shutoff is. Our annual boiler maintenance guide explains what that service covers.
- Frozen, split pipes in second homes after the heat quit
- Salt air corroding outdoor shower valves and AC condensers
- Tree roots in older drain lines running to the septic tank
- Worn toilets, faucets and drains in busy summer rentals
- Boilers in older Capes nearing the end of their life
- Private wells in some villages that need water filtration
- Propane setups in neighborhoods without a gas main
Serving Every Falmouth Village and the Upper Cape
Falmouth is home base, and we work in every part of it: Woods Hole, East Falmouth, North Falmouth, West Falmouth, Teaticket, Hatchville and Waquoit. A leak in Woods Hole or a dead water heater in Waquoit is a short drive for us.

Questions about plumbing in Falmouth
Have a different question? Reach us at (508) 274-9939, or send the form and we’ll get back to you.
Is there a 24-hour emergency plumber in Falmouth, MA?
Yes. We answer emergency calls 24 hours a day, every day, from our shop in East Falmouth. Call (508) 274-9939 for a burst pipe, a sewage backup, a leaking water heater or a leak you can’t stop, and urgent repairs get same-day service. Regular work like a dripping faucet can usually be booked within a day or two.
Do you give free quotes?
Yes, quotes are free, whether it’s a water heater replacement, a new outdoor shower or a heat pump install. On repairs, we explain what we found and what it will take before starting, so the price isn’t a surprise. Cost depends on things like access, the equipment you choose, and whether old piping needs updating.
Which Cape Cod towns do you serve besides Falmouth?
We serve Mashpee, Bourne, Sandwich, Barnstable and Yarmouth, along with the Barnstable villages of Hyannis, Centerville, Osterville, Cotuit, Marstons Mills and West Barnstable. Every Falmouth village is covered too, from Woods Hole to Waquoit. Not sure your street is in range? Call (508) 274-9939 and ask.
Are your plumbers licensed and insured?
Yes. Our plumbers are licensed in Massachusetts and the company is fully insured. If you’d like to see the license or insurance paperwork before we start, just ask.
Do you work on commercial buildings as well as houses?
Yes. Along with homes, we handle plumbing for stores, offices and other commercial properties around Falmouth and the Cape. A business can’t shut down for a day while the restrooms are out, so tell us your hours when you call and we’ll work out timing that keeps disruption low.
Why do Cape Cod homes have different plumbing problems than homes off-Cape?
Mostly because of how houses here are used. Many are second homes that sit empty in winter, which is how pipes freeze. Salt air corrodes outdoor fixtures and equipment faster, a lot of homes rely on septic systems instead of town sewer, and some villages use private wells. Summer rentals also put heavy use on drains and fixtures in a short season.
