Plumber in East Falmouth (BusinessRate, Aug 2026)
Three Villages Between the Bay and Bass River
Yarmouth stretches from Cape Cod Bay to Nantucket Sound, with three main villages. Yarmouth Port sits on the bay side along Route 6A, South Yarmouth runs along Bass River at the Dennis line, and West Yarmouth borders Hyannis and Lewis Bay. Route 28 ties the south side together.
Yarmouth is the farthest east of our regular towns. We get there along Route 28 or Route 6 from our Falmouth base, passing through the Town of Barnstable on the way. Most appointments go on the calendar within 24 to 48 hours, and urgent problems are handled the same day.

What a Plumber in Yarmouth, MA Runs Into Most
Yarmouth’s buildings run from sea captains’ homes to Route 28 motels. Here’s what tends to come up in each.
Captains’ Mile in Yarmouth Port
Close to 50 historic sea captains’ houses line Route 6A here, many still private homes. Old supply piping, boilers that have been patched for years and very little room to run new lines are typical.
South Yarmouth near Bass River
Year-round neighborhoods mixed with summer homes near the river. Water heater replacements, kitchen and bath fixture swaps and heating systems that need attention before winter are our most common calls here.
West Yarmouth and Lewis Bay
Smaller Capes, ranches and cottages close to Hyannis. Seasonal use and older drain lines lead to freeze damage, slow drains and fixtures worn out by renters.
Route 28 businesses
Motels, restaurants and shops along Route 28 take heavy summer use. We handle their water heaters, drains, backflow preventers and fixtures.

Yarmouth Water Heaters, Drains, Boilers and More
When a tank starts leaking or the hot water runs out halfway through a shower, see our page on water heater replacement in Yarmouth for tank and tankless options. Backed-up sinks and main lines are covered on drain cleaning in Yarmouth.
For older homes with baseboard heat, Yarmouth boiler repair explains what we check when a boiler won’t fire or a zone stays cold. Adding air conditioning or cutting back on oil? Our page on heat pump installation in Yarmouth explains the options and how we help with Mass Save rebates.
We also service and replace furnaces, take on commercial plumbing for Route 28 businesses, and fix running toilets, leaky faucets and worn-out garbage disposals. When something can’t wait, our emergency plumbing line is open around the clock.

Town Water and the Yarmouth Sewer Rollout
Most Yarmouth homes get their water from the Yarmouth Water Department, which pumps groundwater from town wells. If your water leaves scale on fixtures or tastes off, we can install filtration for the whole house or just the kitchen tap.
The bigger change is wastewater. Yarmouth has started a long-term sewer project to protect Lewis Bay, Parkers River and Bass River, with a new treatment facility and a collection system planned to cover about two-thirds of town over the coming decades. Early construction has focused on Route 28 and South Shore Drive. Until your street is hooked up, the house stays on its septic system.
Getting Your Yarmouth House Ready for a Sewer Hookup
Once your street is in a sewer phase, the plumbing side of the switch looks like this.
1
Camera the main drain
We run a camera from the house toward the street, looking for cracks, sags, roots and old joints that could fail once the line carries everything to the sewer.
2
Repair what we find
Damaged sections get repaired or replaced, and we make sure there’s an accessible cleanout. Fixing the line now beats digging up the yard after the connection.
3
Coordinate the tie-in
Pumping out and closing the old septic tank goes to a septic contractor. We handle the house plumbing and the line out to the street, and we time our work around theirs.

Emergency Plumbing Service in Yarmouth, MA
Yarmouth is the farthest town we cover from Falmouth, but our emergency line still runs 24 hours for Yarmouth Port, South Yarmouth and West Yarmouth. When you call (508) 274-9939, we’ll tell you straight how soon we can be there.
Motels and rentals along Route 28 can’t wait on a backed-up line with guests checked in, and the older homes on the bay side get their share of frozen pipes after a cold snap. Shut off the water, keep everyone away from anything electrical near the leak, and we’ll get it handled.

Reviews from Cape Cod homeowners
We had guests staying in our house in Dennis. The water heater went off on a Saturday evening. After furiously calling any and all plumbers listed with 24 hr emergency service to try to get someone out there but no response, I called this number at 8 PM Saturday night. Nick actually answered his phone. He was onsite at a job in Falmouth but said he could go first thing in the morning. He followed through on that. He was prompt and quickly fixed the problem early Sunday morning. What a relief knowing our guests could take a shower. He was in touch with updates and info and super responsive. Price was great. I was so relieved. He was so reassuring and literally we could get no one else to even answer the phone. We were so grateful and will be calling him again.
Highly recommend! Came out early the next day on a weekend and helped us with a house where two disabled people live. Really appreciated their prompt, courteous, clean, and friendly service. Issue was fixed quickly and reasonably charged.
Excellent - we will call you with any service needed in the future.
Thank you
Great service for an emergency, quick to respond, communicated from start to finish. A fair price and great service, I would highly recommend this customer focused company.

Questions about plumbing in Yarmouth
Have a different question? Reach us at (508) 274-9939, or send the form and we’ll get back to you.
Do you serve Yarmouth Port, South Yarmouth and West Yarmouth?
Yes, all three. That includes the historic homes on Route 6A in Yarmouth Port, the neighborhoods along Bass River in South Yarmouth, and the cottages near Lewis Bay in West Yarmouth. Yarmouth is the eastern edge of our regular service area, and we work in Hyannis right next door too.
When will my Yarmouth street be connected to sewer?
It depends on where you live. Work started along the busiest roads near the south shore, and the full buildout is planned over many years. The town posts which areas are in each phase. Until your street is connected, you’re on septic.
Can you winterize a summer cottage in West Yarmouth?
Yes. We drain the supply lines, outdoor shower and hose bibs, and protect fixtures and the water heater so nothing splits over the winter. If you’d rather keep the heat on, we can service the boiler or furnace before you leave. In spring, we turn everything back on and check for leaks.
Is Yarmouth on town water or private wells?
Most homes get water from the Yarmouth Water Department, which draws groundwater from wells in town. If you have low pressure throughout the house or scale building up on fixtures, the cause is usually inside your home, and we can track it down.
Can you work on a sea captain’s house on Captains’ Mile?
Yes. We work in old homes all the time and plan pipe and heating work to limit damage to original walls, floors and trim. If a vent or outdoor unit has to go on the outside of the house, we’ll talk through spots that keep it out of view.
Do you handle plumbing for motels and rentals on Route 28?
Yes. We’re licensed and insured for commercial work, including motels, restaurants, shops and short-term rentals. We replace water heaters, clear drains, install backflow preventers and fix fixtures. Tell us your check-in days and busiest weekends, and we’ll plan the work around them.
