Plumber in East Falmouth (BusinessRate, Aug 2026)

A Plumber for Cape Cod, MA, Working From Falmouth

We’ve worked out of Falmouth since 2001 and have more than 1,600 completed jobs behind us. Our service area runs north to the Cape Cod Canal in Bourne, along the bay through Sandwich, and east through Mashpee and the Town of Barnstable to Yarmouth and Bass River.

Falmouth sits at the southwest corner of the Cape, so most of our routes fan out from there. Route 28 and Route 28A head north toward Bourne, Route 151 runs into Mashpee, and Route 130 runs north through Forestdale into Sandwich. Route 28 also carries us east through Cotuit, Marstons Mills and Centerville toward Hyannis and Yarmouth, while Route 6 and Route 6A cover the bay side.

Working across the Upper and Mid Cape teaches you fast that no two towns are alike. Some villages are on town water and others are on private wells. A few areas have sewer, while most homes still use septic. And a big share of houses are closed up every winter. We plan each visit around those details.

Cape Cod Communities We Serve

Each town and village below has its own page with local details, services and answers to the questions people there actually ask.

Falmouth

Our home base, from Woods Hole and the ferry docks to East Falmouth, North Falmouth, Teaticket, Hatchville and Waquoit. It’s where we started in 2001, and our Falmouth plumbing services page covers the full list.

Bourne

The canal town, with Pocasset, Cataumet and Monument Beach on the Cape side and Buzzards Bay and Sagamore Beach across the bridges. Three water districts and lots of seasonal cottages keep things interesting for our Bourne plumbing crew.

Mashpee

Right next door to Falmouth, with summer homes in New Seabury and Popponesset and year-round neighborhoods near the ponds. Mashpee is building a new sewer system in phases. See our Mashpee plumber page.

Sandwich

One of the Cape’s oldest towns, with antique houses near the village center, newer homes in Forestdale and private wells in East Sandwich. Read more about plumbing service in Sandwich.

Barnstable

The largest town on the Cape, made up of seven villages and served by several different water suppliers. Our Town of Barnstable plumbing page covers Hyannis, Barnstable Village and the rest.

Yarmouth

Captains’ Mile on Route 6A, South Yarmouth along the Bass River and West Yarmouth near Hyannis. Yarmouth is rolling out sewer along Route 28. Visit our Yarmouth plumbing page.

Barnstable Villages With Their Own Pages

Barnstable’s villages are different enough that several get their own pages. Centerville takes in Craigville Beach and the Centerville Historic District, and it shares the COMM Water District with Osterville and Marstons Mills. Our Centerville plumber page covers year-round homes and summer rentals near the beach.

Osterville is known for its waterfront estates around Wianno and the gated Oyster Harbors community on Grand Island. Bigger homes like these often mean multiple heating zones, more than one water heater and an outdoor shower or two. See plumbing in Osterville.

Cotuit sits on a peninsula between Falmouth and Hyannis, with Santuit in its northwest corner where Route 28 meets Route 130. It has its own Cotuit Water Department, and it’s the first Barnstable village we reach heading east on Route 28. Learn more on our Cotuit plumbing page.

Marstons Mills is quiet and residential, with kettle ponds like Hamblin and Middle and Route 149 running north toward the Mid-Cape Highway. Our Marstons Mills plumbers page covers the homes there. West Barnstable, home to Sandy Neck and Cape Cod Community College, relies on private wells, which we go into on the West Barnstable plumbing page.

Bay Side vs. Sound Side: Two Different Cape Cod Plumbing Pictures

The Cape we cover splits roughly into the Cape Cod Bay side up north and the Nantucket Sound side down south. The houses and the plumbing problems change as you cross Route 6.

Bay side (Route 6A)

  • Older historic homes in Sandwich, Barnstable Village and Yarmouth Port
  • Old King’s Highway rules for exterior changes
  • Private wells common in East Sandwich and West Barnstable
  • Original piping and decades-old boilers

Sound side (Route 28)

  • Summer homes and rentals near the beaches
  • Busy commercial strips in Hyannis and Yarmouth
  • Town water in most villages
  • Salt air wearing on outdoor units and showers

Plenty of homes don’t fit neatly in either column, which is why we ask about your house before we show up.

What We Do Across Cape Cod

The same licensed, insured crew handles every town on this page. Here’s what we bring to each one.

Everyday plumbing

Leak repair, toilets, faucets, fixtures, backflow preventers and water filtration. We also handle drain cleaning with snaking, hydro jetting and camera inspections.

Hot water

Tank and tankless units repaired, replaced or installed new. Our water heater page covers the options, from Navien and Rinnai tankless to standard tanks.

Heating

Boiler repair and installation, annual boiler maintenance, radiant floor heating manifolds, and furnace repair, installation and tune-ups for homes across the Upper and Mid Cape.

Heat pumps and cooling

What customers say on Google

★★★★★Emergency water heater repair

We had guests staying in our house in Dennis. The water heater went off on a Saturday evening. After furiously calling any and all plumbers listed with 24 hr emergency service to try to get someone out there but no response, I called this number at 8 PM Saturday night. Nick actually answered his phone. He was onsite at a job in Falmouth but said he could go first thing in the morning. He followed through on that. He was prompt and quickly fixed the problem early Sunday morning. What a relief knowing our guests could take a shower. He was in touch with updates and info and super responsive. Price was great. I was so relieved. He was so reassuring and literally we could get no one else to even answer the phone. We were so grateful and will be calling him again.

Our Cape Cod service area: common questions

Still not sure? Call (508) 274-9939 and talk it through with someone who does this every day.

Do you ever go past Yarmouth, to towns like Dennis?

Sometimes. Our regular area runs from Falmouth and Bourne through Mashpee, Sandwich, Barnstable and Yarmouth. We’ve helped customers a little farther out, including a Dennis homeowner whose water heater quit on a Saturday night with guests in the house. If you’re past Yarmouth, call (508) 274-9939 and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can get there in time.

Do you go over the bridges to Buzzards Bay and Sagamore Beach?

Yes. Buzzards Bay, Bournedale and Sagamore Beach are part of Bourne on the mainland side of the Cape Cod Canal, and they’re in our regular service area. Bridge traffic in summer can affect arrival times, so we confirm a window with you before we head over.

How do I know if my Cape Cod home is on town water or a well?

Check for a water bill. Most villages we serve have a water district or department, but private wells are common in places like West Barnstable and East Sandwich. If you don’t get a water bill, you’re almost certainly on a well, and there’s a pressure tank somewhere in the house.

Can you look after a second home on the Cape while I’m away?

Yes. We winterize seasonal homes, reopen them in spring and respond to problems a caretaker or alarm reports while you’re away. We work with lockboxes and property managers, and we explain what we found so you can make decisions from wherever you are.

Do you handle both plumbing and HVAC across Cape Cod?

Yes. Blue Pacific Cape Cod covers plumbing, heating and cooling, so one company can handle your water heater, boiler, heat pump, furnace and air conditioning. That’s handy for second homes, where coordinating several contractors from out of town gets old fast.

Is most of Cape Cod on septic or sewer?

Across the towns we serve, most homes still use septic systems. Sewer reaches parts of some villages, including Hyannis and Buzzards Bay, and Mashpee, Barnstable and Yarmouth are all expanding their systems in phases. Ask your town if your street is scheduled, and we can camera your main line before you connect.
